Lulubee Beeswax Wraps are a reusable food storage alternative to plastic wrap.
Made from cotton, beeswax, tree resin & grapeseed oil, Lulubee wraps are unique in that they are plant-based hand dyed utilising natures colour palette.
Warmth of your hand, warms up the wrap, you can mold and shape it to almost anything.

1 Small 20 x 20cm: wrap half avocado, lemon, end of a cucumber, herbs or cover a jug
1 Medium 28 x 28cm: wrap a sandwich, cheese, cut brinjal, carrots, snack pack or cover a bowl
1 Large 35 x 35cm: wrap a half a butternut, paw-paw, cabbage, baked goods or cover a bowl

HOW TO USE Mould the Lulubee Wrap around food or container, seal with the warmth of your hands. Wrap cheese, sandwiches, vegetables, snacks, bread, herbs, a bowl or a dish. The options are endless.
CARING FOR YOUR WRAP
Wipe excess food off the wrap and hand wash in cool, mildly soapy water. Place on drying rack indoors.
HOW LONG DO THEY LAST Lulubee wraps will last you for about one year, depending on their care and how often they are used. Afterwhich you can throw them in your compost heap, they are compostable, or vut them up and use them as a fire starter for your braai or bonfire.
After using your wraps, you will notice creases and fold lines in them, this is natural and to be expected when using Lulubee wraps to store food in.

The absolute best wrap to preserve half an avocado for later use. Leave the seed in, gently press down the wrap around the seed and against the flesh, and firmly fold around the avocado skin. Store in the fridge. Avocado doesn’t go grey 🙂
Lulubee wraps are a fantastic alternative instead of using cling wrap.
I use a wrap to cover an onion and lo and behold there is no odour of the onion in the fridge which is such a pleasure and the onion lasts much longer.
The wraps are easy to rinse and dry very quickly for their next usage.
