Returns Policy

Every Lulubee offering is made with integrity and pride in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. Lulubee offers a natural and wholesome approach to all that we create, however if you are not happy with your Lulubee purchase, please connect with us on info@lulubee.co.za.

For the safety of our customers and service providers, we have had to temporarily suspend our previous returns policy due to Covid 19.

When do we accept replacements?

We acknowledge that mistakes can happen. If you receive the incorrect item/s to the one/s purchased, we will gladly arrange delivery of the correct product to you, provided that the product was purchased directly from the Lulubee online store. 

Non-returnable Products

We do not offer exchanges, replacements or account credits on the following products, unless they are faulty or not as described:

  • Products that have been opened or damaged after leaving our premises.
  • Food wrap products.
  • Purchases made through other retail channels. i.e. retail stores, market places, flea-markets, tradeshows.
  • Sale or discounted items.
  • Products specified as non-returnable or not for resale cannot be returned.

Processing of Refunds

Should you be entitled to a refund, such refund shall be affected on the credit card or payment option used to purchase the product, within one calendar month of the error on our part.

Privacy Policy

Placing Orders

When you place an order with Lulubee we require certain information, such as personal details, order, address(es) and payment particulars, so that we can process your transaction and deliver your goods. We do not store credit card details.

Your personal information will be held securely by Lulubee. Access to customer account information is limited to staff who require this information to process orders.

3rd Party Service Providers

In order to process your order and deliver your purchases we may have to pass on your information to some of our service providers, such as the courier service provider who delivers our Lulubee products. For wholesale orders, our courier service will be informed of your telephone number and email address as they may wish to contact you by phone or text message to update you on the delivery date and time of your order. Any details passed on to these third parties will only be used in the prescribed way and cannot be used by these companies in their own right.

3rd Party Plugin

We use Google Analytics on our website which tracks and processes data from visitors on our website,  this information is treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Users may go to https://policies.google.com/privacy to view their privacy policy.

Mailing List / Email Subscribers

We collect your name and email address when you opt in to the email subscription list. This data is held in Mailchimp.

The only time you’re name and email address will be added to the email subscription list is when you have given explicit permission to be added to this list. You can join the newsletter mailing list in one of the following ways:

– By filling out the pop-up form on the Home page with your details.
– By ticking an “opt in” box at checkout, which states that you would like to receive regular email newsletters.

Your Rights

  1. Every newsletter sent out contains a link for you to be able to opt-out of receiving future newsletters (a single click “unsubscribe” button).
    2. You have the right to access information held about you.
    3. You have the right to be totally forgotten for applicable data and circumstances.

Payment must clear before your products are sent to you.

Where a third party is required to fulfil your order, only the required data will be provided to them for the purpose of fulfilment.

Customer Privacy policy

Lulubee shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Payment options accepted

Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard.

Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for Lulubee via PayGate (Pty) Ltd, Payfast  who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks.  PayGate & Payfast use the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za & www.payfast.co.za/security-fraud to view their security certificate and security policy.

Customer details separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by Lulubee separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s | Payfast secure site. For more details refer to www.paygate.co.za.   www.payfast.co.za

Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

Responsibility

Lulubee takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Lulubee chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
